ITINERARY

• Day 6 Tofo dives

• Day 9 8hrs roadtrip to the shark mecca that is Ponta Do Ouro. Identified by scientists around the world as being one of the most incredibly bio-diverse ecosystems in the world.

• Day 10 Ponta Dives

• Day 11 Ponta Dives

• Day 12 3hrs drive sees us cross the border between Mozambique and South Africa heading to the lush parklands of our accommodation in Marloth Park.

• Day 13 The safari is around 10hrs total starting at 5am and leaving the park around 3pm, arriving just in time for some sunset drinks over looking the Krugers southern boundary.

• Day 14 Safari day #2

• Day 15 Airport transfer day

• Voltage converter (adapter for Cameras, torches, phones) for 82 KVA GENERATOR.

• Warm safari clothing: Long pants, over jacket, fleece, socks, sturdy shoes
• Keep in mind that the safari jeeps are side open so it can get really chilly on the early morning game drives

TRANSPORTATION

• The spacious vehicles seat 10 people max and have both a roof rack and added space with a trailer.

• These 4 x 4 vehicles’ are serviced after every trip. The road journeys have the benefit of 4g Wi-Fi and offering delicate music or pod casts to pass the time exploring the coastal towns of Mozambique.

• Bring a camera to capture the colors and vibrance of the largely BANTU culture.

THE VAN From Maputo Airport To Kruger National Park 2 HOURS

From Kruger National Park to Ponta 3 HOURS

From Ponta Do Ouro to Tofo Beach 8 HOURS

From Tofo Beach To Morrungulo 2,5 HOURS

From Morrungulo To Maputo Airport 4 HOURS

Additional information

• VISA: Once the deposit has been received, we would need a copy of your passport so we can issue an invitation letter to accompany your visa application. Arriving from a country without a MOZAMBICAN embassy, a visa will be issued on arrival at the international entry airport, as long as all the documents are in hand.
  
• Documents needed : invitation letter from our operators stating your visit for tourism, vaccination certificate, copies of your flight ticket home, copy of your passport. 90% of guests have not had issues receiving one as long as they had the correct paperwork upon arrival at immigration. Please note that immigration does hold the right to refuse entry.
  
• The national currency of Mozambique is Meticais (MZM) and the National Currency of SA is Rand (ZAR), these both can be obtained from all banks with ATM's throughout both countries. Many places also accept USD, ZAR and EUR but their rates often in restaurants are not favourable. Most places also accepts visa & mastercard

Reservation and cancellation policy

• $500 non-refundable deposit per person will hold your space on the trip
• 2nd down payment: $1,500 on July 1, 2024
• 3rd final payment: $1,500 on May 1, 2025

• Balance is due 3 months prior the trip
• If you are unable to arrive on time to the boat/hotel or are subject to an early departure, there will be a full charge
  
• If you are unable to arrive at the designated time for the airport transfer, you will be responsible for your transfer
• DAN insurance or equivalent is mandatory
